Studying & Learning
There’s nothing like taking our cue from The Book of Common Prayer, which exhorts us to “read, mark, learn and inwardly digest the Scriptures...” (Collect, Proper 28). Through a variety of educational opportunities and experiences — from book clubs and Bible study to lectures and accessing our lending library — St. Christopher’s is dedicated to engaging and enriching the faith of all our members. Included among many opportunities are:
Seasonal Days of Retreat — join us for quiet reflection and spiritual direction during Advent and Lent- Lenten Study & Prayer — a meal and a topic relevant to the season marks the Wednesday evenings to which families — adults and children — are invited
- St. Christopher’s Forum — Sunday mornings between services is the perfect time to grab a cup of coffee and join in a discussion on a breadth of topics, from The Book of Common Prayer and biblical basics to church tradition and topics of theology, morality and spirituality
- Weekly Bible Study — walk with others through the books of the Bible with exegesis, discussion and exploration of our lives in the biblical context
- Library — our lending library is stacked with the classics and continually renewed with contemporary publications — from ecclesiology and biblical studies to fiction and theological best sellers
