Faith Formation

We are life-long learners. Our principal educational task is to equip people as faithful followers and witnesses of Jesus Christ. Baptismal preparation and reaffirmation of baptismal vows initiates and empowers our faith journey. The entire life-cycle presents opportunities and challenges for faith formation. Programs for children, youth and adults are available throughout the year. Contact the office for current information regarding these opportunities.

• Adult Bible Study: Short-term and long-term study groups meet throughout the year. No previous experience in Bible study is assumed or required. Often, the group chooses its emphasis and interest. 

• Rector's Bible Study: From September through May, the Rector holds a study Thursdays at 10 am. through walks slowly into the books of the Bible.

• Cursillo is a diocesan-wide three‑day opportunity to live within a Christian community. The weekend invites us to explore our calling to Christian leadership and our ministries to those around us. After the weekend, “renewal groups” help us live lives of on-going learning and joy. Call the office for information.

• Confirmation/Inquirers Classes for adults are held throughout the year to invite those considering a commitment to the Episcopal Church and to explore the faith we hold in common. Classes coincide with the Bishop’s parish visit or regional confirmation. Youth confirmation occurs as a regular part of the Journey to Adulthood program.

• House Groups gather monthly for community and companionship.

• Lenten Study Series provide unique spiritual experiences. Each series is different and allows individuals to explore Christianity in new ways.
