Blessings Received & Shared

Conversation with God takes many forms and we strive to provide a number of opportunities for our people to meet and find God. Besides weekly Holy Eucharist, we also offer seasonal days of retreat, small- and large-group prayer, private spiritual direction resources and preparation for the celebration of special liturgies and the reception sacraments, including:
- Baptism — full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body, the church
- Confirmation — an expression of mature commitment to Christ and strengthening through anointing and the laying on of hands by the Bishop
- Marriage — a lifelong commitment expressed through vows made before God and the church
- Anointing — prayers and laying on of hands for healing of mind and body
- Funeral & Burial — the celebration of the life of one who has died and the internment of the body or ashes
- Reconciliation — the grace of healing through forgiveness and prayer
- Reception & Reaffirmation — for adults seeking to be received into the Episcopal Church or those who wish to reaffirm their commitment of faith made at Confirmation. This is a period of study that leads to a formal profession of faith and reception/reaffirmation by the Bishop
