Sunday 7:45 a.m. Holy Eucharist - Rite I
This liturgy follows the Rite I form, from The Book of Common Prayer. It is a "said" Eucharist, meaning that, outside of an organ prelude, there is no music. This liturgy utilizes language like that of the King James Bible. The nursery is not staffed during this liturgy.
Sunday 9:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist - Rite II
This Eucharist is the largest of our three services and uses the Rite II form, from The Book of Common Prayer. The texts for this service employ a more contemporary approach to language, prayer and liturgy. This service is enhanced by the leadership of our fine choirs, offering classic Anglican choral music, and hymnody from The Hymnal 1982, supplemented by contemporary music from Taize and the Gather hymnal. The nursery is staffed during this liturgy.
10:00 a.m. Christian Formation activities for children and youth. Because Christian Formation activities take place between them, many families opt for the 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. liturgies.
Sunday 11 a.m. Holy Eucharist - Rite III
This Eucharist is the most contemporary of our three Sunday liturgies. The contemplative nature of this Eucharist is enhanced by the use of texts from The New Zealand Prayer Book, and other newer supplemental sources. Contemporary music from the Gather Hymnal and Taize movement, occasional popular "folk-Mass" choruses, and a bit of traditional hymnody are led by our cantors, piano, and flute. The nursery is staffed during this liturgy.
Wednesday 9:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist
Rite II, (said), in the Christ Child Chapel.
